OBJECTIVES:
1. To develop the solution allowing the automatic control of the light level for the rolling stock moving around the station
2. To create opportunity for changing the light level depending on arrival and departure of the rolling stock and stable lighting of the track spacing
3. To reduce the number of crossbars at the station - with the light level increased two times
4. To ensure the possibility of switching between two light levels - regular and standby lighting
5. To control the lighting fixtures (dimming, turning on and off) remotely via radio channel
6. To take account of the territory parameters: open area of the railway station, increased humidity, high speed and blasts of wind, increased temperature in summer, flying birds.
PROJECT FEATURES:
One of the first projects on digitization of the Russian Railways making use of the smart lighting control system ensuring optimization of the light operating mode and significant reduction in power consumption. Implementation of the unique light remote wireless control system allowed to increase the average light level during handling operations by 2 times (from 5 to 10 lx).
RESULT:
After the facility commissioning we managed to achieve the following indicators:
- Power consumption reduced by 79%
- Savings per 1,000 sq.m a year: 180,000 rubles
- Project payback period – 3 years
- Increased comfort of work and reduced risk of injury
- The light level was brought in compliance with construction regulations
- Lighting area, sq.m - 430,000
